Art and Lessons by Lyn

Most classes are from 3-4 hours long and you get to take home a completed painting. 

Students bring paper towels, a bag for garbage, a desire to learn, wear painting clothes, a canvas,usually16x20, and I provide everything else. 

   Earlier in my life I dabbled in art once/twice.  My early experience was with Eric Erickson, a New England painter.    In 2008 I took a class at my local craft store. That is where this journey began.  I now am certified in Donna Dewberry one stroke acrylics/enamels and Bob Ross landscape, florals and wildlife (wet on wet) oils.  I have also taken lessons in the early 1900 school of art out of New York City with Robert Dockery and I continue to take lessons from Susan Murphy.  I am also studying the Hudson River Valley style and will then take the painter of light style.    

  The journey has been wondrous and fulfilling and I enjoy sharing the joy with others.  I am now teaching around the Rochester, New York area as well as northern PA.  In 2011  I was invited to teach in Colorado.  To experience those mountians and teach was a joy. I have been invited back.  I hope you enjoy seeing my work and my students work on this web site.
